Event Summary

The 59th annual Krewe of Covington Lions Club parade, a parade of trucks, wagons, classic cars and marching krewes, is a fun parade ideal for families. The lineup for 2018 includes walking groups, musicians, riders, antique car owners and more. The parade theme and Grand Marshal will be announced as the event nears.

The Lions Club parade begins at 10am and the Mystic Krewe of Covington parade rolls immediately after. Then, a two-hour post-parade celebration will be held at the Covington Trailhead, featuring entertainment, food and family fun.

Founded in 1959 by the civic society Covington Lions Club, proceeds support the cost of exams and eyeglasses for low-income individuals. Follows the same route as the Krewe of Olympia.
